Céu do Montréal at the Royal Ontario Museum
Psychedelics: Art. Culture. Science.
Céu do Montréal is honoured to be included in the Royal Ontario Museum exhibition: Psychedelics: Art. Culture. Science.
We were invited to represent the Santo Daime, and its ritual use of our Sacrament, the Daime (Ayahuasca). The exhibit includes representations of the cultural, historical, and scientific significance of sacred plants and fungi and psychedelics, offering artworks, objects, botanical specimens, and interactive experiences. The exhibit confronts a subject long surrounded by taboo, and invites visitors to engage with new perspectives, reflecting on what sacred plants and psychedelics have meant across time and what they may come to represent in the future.
